Hi!
We’re Lyn and Lucy. We met a long long time ago, when I (Lucy) was 17 and doing my A levels whilst Lyn was in University. Fast forward 38 years and we now have 3 grown up children, a granddaughter, and a love of travel. We never had the opportunity to travel growing up, but went to two Greek islands on our honeymoon back in 1993, and we haven’t stopped travelling since.
Our travels evolved from family road trips in the US, some solo adventures, a cramped VW T5 to a luxurious Hymer motorhome. We are now facing our biggest challenge yet converting our 18 tonne lorry into an off grid overlander.
You’ll find Lyn behind the wheel and me behind the keyboard as we meander our way through Europe and beyond. We hope to drink good wine, find very cold water dipping spots (the more remote the better!), chase the Northern Lights, and meet interesting people along the way.
We hope you’ll follow us whoever you are – whether you’re interested in super practical and geeky overlander building material, hearing about our previous trips, or if you are friends and family checking in on our travels.
